Ithaca's Odyssey Testnet
Ithaca's Odyssey Testnet is an open-source Layer 2 platform designed to advance blockchain performance and developer experience. Backed by Paradigm, a leading crypto venture capital firm, Odyssey integrates features from Ethereum's forthcoming Pectra and Fusaka upgrades, including EIP-7702, which facilitates account abstraction for enhanced on-chain user interactions.
Built with the Reth SDK, Odyssey offers high throughput and low latency, targeting 33 megagas per second with 1-second block times. It emphasizes frictionless Layer 2 onboarding, enabling users to engage without requiring pre-installed wallets, gas tokens, or custom RPC setups.
