What is Onchain Heroes?

 

Onchain Heroes is an upcoming fully-onchain, idle RPG that will feature novel on-chain game mechanics. This project was created to meet the demand for a game tailored for web3 natives (read: degens) to play and compete for high stakes.

 

 

Guiding Principles:

 

- Fully on-chain: The entire game state and logic will live on the blockchain, ensuring it is trustless and verifiable by anyone. No centralized servers will be involved.

 

- Simple to understand: The core game loop will be easy to learn but challenging to master.

 

- Risk Protocol: Players can choose their gameplay style based on their risk tolerance. Those with a low risk tolerance can progress safely, while others can opt for a high-risk, high-reward approach.

 

- Idle Gameplay: We believe web3 games should require low time but high thought. Our aim is to create an addictive, yet quick-to-play experience. Players should expect to spend about 10-15 minutes per day, though they might contemplate their next moves for hours.

The playable game is expected to launch on the [REDACTED] chain in Q3 of 2024.

 

 

Who is the team behind it?

 

Our founder, Skarly, is a seasoned web3 game developer with over 10 years of experience as a software engineer. Before Onchain Heroes, Skarly was the lead game developer at Wolf Game for 2.5 years, having joined as their first team member in late 2021.
